Request a proposalPricing based on scope and group

A proposal for your team. Dates, facilitator, pricing and terms are agreed before booking.

Who it is for

Analysts and technical staff who work with files and spreadsheets and want to build a programmable, reproducible workflow.

What you need

Confidence with files and spreadsheets. No previous Python experience required. A computer with Python 3.11 or later and an editor; Jupyter is optional for the notebook.

A computer, stable connection and authorized access to agreed tools. Any required paid licenses are specified before booking.

LEARNING PATH

What you will practice.

Blocks combine explanation, practice and review. Scheduling is agreed for each course.

  1. 014 h

    Environment and file reading

Introduce Python functions and data structures, read CSV and build a data dictionary while preserving the original file.

  2. 024 h

    Quality and validation rules

Normalize values, check dates and statuses and separate issues without inventing missing information.

  3. 034 h

    Duplicates and relationships

Distinguish exact repeats from conflicting versions, apply an explicit policy and join data to a reference catalog.

  4. 044 h

    Metrics and visualization

Group data, calculate means with clear denominators and present tables and charts with interpretation limits.

  5. 054 h

    Repeatable reports and tests

Generate outputs, check reconciliation and cross-check counts with SQLite in a local environment.

  6. 064 h

    Project and communication

Change an assumption, predict outcomes, run the workflow and explain cleaning and analysis decisions.

EVIDENCE OF LEARNING

The result gets reviewed.

Submission of notebook, code, outputs, tests and a decision summary. Rubric: correctness (30), verification (25), reproducibility (20), controls and limitations (15), and handover (10). Satisfactory from 70/100, with minimums in correctness and verification. Six four-hour sessions, with the project included.

Included in the program

  • Practice guide and work templates.
  • Support during exercises and review of a final activity.
  • A Crocode participation certificate recording completed hours.

The participation certificate requires at least 80% live attendance and project submission, recording completed hours. Practice data and targets are synthetic. The core lab uses the Python standard library and does not require a paid AI account. Breaks are additional to teaching hours.
